Is it true?

Can it be? Is it really 2008??? I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. This has been such a monumental year that it is no surprize it went by so quickly, but it is just crazy to think that it is actually over. I don't really have a lot of great insight into new years or resolutions or anything, but here are my (slightly typical) goals for the year:

1) Find a better means for organization so I don't lose everything
2) Try to listen better so I don't forget everything
3) Start going to the gym again so I don't get fat (again)
4) Learn to be a better cook and plan my meals in advance so I don't spend a fortune on nothing at the grocery store
5) Be a good, loving wife (and stepmom) so Jason doesn't divorce me if I don't manage to keep the other 4 resolutions. However, I PROMISE that 3 is the most important because I know that fat is not an option. :)

Thanks all and have a safe new year!!!!

Oh yeah...

The Wii was worth it!!!

Wednesday, December 12, 2007

Finally...

For those that arent in conversation with me on a regular basis...i have been trying to obtain a Nintendo Wii for the last few weeks. Even tho these game systems have been out for over a year, they are harder then ever to find. All retailers are out of stock and when they get them in...the literally sell out within minutes. You can find them on ebay and craigslist...but at double the price. I even installed a widget on my mac that alerted me when they were in stock somewhere and that couldnt even help me. But finally...at 6pm this evening...I GOT ONE!

I really came close the last few days as i was calling all the local retailers every 30 mins or so seeing if they got their daily shipments and if there were any wii's in them. On Monday one of the guys that work at the Game Crazy by my work...said he would call me when they got their shipment. By 5pm he hadnt called and i checked one last time and they didnt get any in. When i stopped in the next day...once again they hadnt received any shipment for that day. When i asked when the last time they actually received any wii's in their shipments...and the guy said, "we got some in last night, the shipment came in late" AHHHHH.... So close. The guy that said he would call went home at the end of the ship and sure enough...their shipment comes in after he leaves.

Then yesterday...i continued to call everyone to see if they got any and the Game Crazy at the mall just down the street and just received some. They couldnt hold any so i literally ran out of my store...tore out of the parking lot...ran thru the mall...pulled a muscle...got yelled at by security...and when i got there the guy in front of me got the last one!!! He was there to by "Rockband" (a game for XBOX) and just happened to ask, "oh yeah, do you guys have any wii's in?) Strike two for me...some shmo who just happened to be there at the right time, luckily snagged the last one in the store. When i got back to work...about 30 mins later my little widget showed that Amazon.com had them available. I immediately opened the link and sure enough it was there. I clicked to buy...and entered my name and address...and in that 40 seconds...they sold out. I couldnt even finish my transaction even tho it was in my shopping cart and i was in the process of checking out.

Today i thought id give craigslist a try. Everyone i saw was at least $400. Seeing how the retail price is 249.99...i wasnt about to spend $400. But finally later in the day...a guy was selling one for $300. I called and surprisingly he still had it. He had only posted it a few mins before my call. It is brand new and even came with an extra Super Mario game that cost $50. So i got my wii and an extra game for less than it woulda cost me to buy it at a store...

And i dont have to spend all day trying to locate on instead of doing my work :)

Christmas Spirit

I don't know about you, but when I think of winter and the holidays, I think of Calvin and Hobbes. There are so many funny "snow art" strips from the comic. I love looking through them because they can always make me laugh. I remember the first time I saw them was in an email I got from Jason that had been floating around our office when he and I first started dating. Below, you can see some of my favorites (sorry about the small font)!

Speaking of Our Website... (see Melina's Top 5 post below)

Once again i completely redid our website!! Over the weekend Jordan updated our Mac to Leopard and i am now using the Mac on a regular basis. I decided to create the website using the mac as it is alot easier to update. Check it all out and let me know what you think of it!!!

Top 5

Hello everyone!

I don't know if anyone really cares, but I have decided that I would like to post my "Top 5" favorite things of this week/month. These are the things that I really think are awesome right now, some of which help me get through the day without going wacky. :)

5) Passion tea made by Tazo...I always used to get the "Shaken Passion Tea Lemonade" from Starbucks, but now I have started drinking just the tea with a little sweet&low (much healthier) and it is so good! I have at least one cup a day and I love it. It is naturally caffiene free so I am not jumping off the walls, but I am not stuck with the bland taste of water...which gets boring after a while!

4) Our Christmas tree! I love our tree, and every year we get to pick out a new ornament. This year, Braeden got another cars ornament (big surprise!) I got a tinkerbell ornament where she is stuck in the keyhole in the dresser drawer, and we found santa on a scooter for Jason. It is a very cheerful addition to our living room and I love being able to see it every day! I dread when it is gone.

3)Wedding pictures! We just got our pictures from Jason's dad (my new dad) and they are so cute! Glen did a great job with them and they really help me remember how much fun we had at the wedding.

2) Our website! Jason does such a great job with this, and I really appreciate all the time he puts into it. He is always striving to make it better, and it shows. I brag about it all the time and make everyone look at it as often as possible! Thanks baby!

And the number one thing I love right now...

Being Mrs. Young! I love being married to Jason. I love being able to say that he is my husband, and being a step-mom. :) Or the "wicked stepmother"...whichever you prefer. I now love receiving bills and filling out forms because they have my new name and I get to check "Married" under marital status. I know it is a little silly, but Jason makes me really happy and I love our little family.

Well, that is it right now. I could actually probably come up with more, but I think a top 10 would be way too long! No one would stick around to read it, so I will just update my top 5 in future posts. Does anyone have their own top 5 they would like to share? I would love to hear them!!!

Mrs. Young! :)

Thanksgiving weekend

It is sad, but true, Thanksgiving is officially over. :( Jason, Braeden and I had a whirlwind weekend complete with three Thanksgivings, one birthday party, one wedding gift party, two football parties (Apple Cup and the Hawks), one flag football game, one shopping spree and one thousand games of guitar hero.

Our weekend started off on Wednesday night when we had Thanksgiving dinner with my mom (who made a non-traditional ham and scalloped potatoes dinner in anticipation of our turkey filled weekend - thanks mom!) which was fun, but too short because we had to leave early the next morning.

On Thursday we left about two hours late for Thanksgiving at the Young household, but still made it in time for dinner. We had a great time hanging out with the family and had a delicious dinner (thanks other mom!) On Friday, the family celebrated Caleb's (our nephew) first birthday party. He was a little confused by the wrapping paper and blowing out the candles, but he still had a lot of fun.

Due to time delays and our overpacked weekend, we had to leave the party early to head down to the Lambert's (or is it Lambet's :)) for our final Thanksgiving. I think there were about 35 people who came for dinner and it was a real blast. Seven and Braeden had lots of fun playing, they have both been missing each other, so they liked the chance to hang out and talk Cars for a few days. :) Adult Seven (Jordan) and Adult Braeden (Jason) also had lots of fun playing together (guitar hero, Mac's, iPhones, iTouch, and other techie stuff).

The weekend was too eventful for one blog, but I would just like to say that I actually enjoyed playing flag football, and next time I will score a touchdown! In this game I got close, but didn't quite make it.

I already miss the Lamberts. We always have a great time with them and they are all such great people. We really appreciate the hospitality we were shown, and thank you again for the wedding gifts. They were unexpected and greatly appreciated. We really love all of you and hope to see you again soon. Congratulations to Corky for running his marathon! I hope you did as well (or better) than you were hoping for! And nothing but good wishes for Jessica in the months ahead. We are thinking about you and support you in everything you are doing to defend the country.

Happy Turkey Day (or weekend) everyone! How many days until Christmas? :)

I officially have joined a gym. Thats right...one of the most lazy people around...has signed up to get in shape. Just across the street from my work there was a new gym that opened up about a month ago. Melina has had a membership to 24 hour fitness and has been trying to get me to go for a while...but i just wasnt feeling it. 24 hour fitness is just weights and machines and wasnt really interested in driving 10 miles away just to run on a machine. But on Saturday i decided it might help me not be so tired if i started to exercise. On my lunch i headed up to the new gym and took a tour. I liked it so much that i signed up for a membership later that evening. Melina came too and even tho she already has a gym membership, she signed up too. Not only is it new...it has alot more than just machines and weights. And its close to work so its really convenient to use and having us both belong there...it will keep us motivated to go.

Now it still does have all the machines and free weights that any other club would have...but it has much more too. One of the main things that sold me is the full court basketball court. Ive already been up there and ran a few games. I used to play everyday in high school so its nice to start playing a little again. Also...at most of the machines...they have their own personal tv's. These tvs you can change to any channel and watch what you want. it even has a headphone jack that you can plug into. Today before work...i used the elliptical for 2 miles and then bike for another mile...all while watching the Price is Right. It also has two pools...a lap pool...and a family pool that i can take Braeden to at anytime for free. We went two nights ago and he loved it. In the locker room it has personal showers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each one. They offer towel service too. And on top of all that...they have plasmas everywhere..including off the lobby in a separate area that has couches and a fireplace to sit down and watch. they even have a sitting area with a plasma in each locker room. Oh and did i mention...they have pool tables, a Foosball table...and two plasmas that are hooked up with Nintendo Wii's. Needless to say...its awesome! Hopefully i can get in better shape...have fun...and not be so tired during the day.

Ouch!

Ok Jordan.... Here is your belated update. (and the one for those who have no idea what happened)

So Oregon (the University of Oregon Ducks) started the season unranked and pretty much werent expected to do much. They started out good last year...but then lost their last 4 games and many experts thought it would carry over to this year. They ended up going on a big run to start this season... and even tho they had one loss early in the year...they made it all the way up to being ranked 2nd in the whole country! Which normally is a great thing...but this year has kind of been a jinx of sort. Four other previously 2nd ranked teams this year...had lost to unranked teams. And thats what happened to the Ducks. And there is more...but i will get into that a little later.

The Ducks were named 2nd in the Nation last Sunday in the new weekly polls...and they played Arizona on Thursday. This was a nationally televised game on ESPN for their "Thursday Night Football.'' This was the first time they were ever on thursday night football as they usually only play on Saturday. Their Quarterback (Dennis Dixon) was having a huge year and was actually the front runner for the heisman trophy. (that is the award that goes to the best player in all of college football) He had led his team to a great season and his numbers were awesome. A couple weeks ago he tweaked his knee in a game but since the team had the next week off...he had 11 days to rest it. All week in practice he felt fine and on the first 2 drives of the Arizona game this week...he torched the Wildcats as he drove the ball the length of the field twice. But then on the 3rd possession....when trying to make a cutback...his previously injured knee gave way and he went down. Immediately in tears...he was helped to the sidelines and declared out of the game. And to reflect on my previous statement of there being more....he has to have surgery on that knee and will be out for the rest of the year. His team went on to lose the game (even tho they fought a hard 4th qtr and could have won the game) and they have fallen out of contention for a National Championship. And...with him now out...his chances for the heisman trophy have gone by the wayside as well. A sad ending to what could have been a huge year in Eugene and all of Oregon. It even hurts up here in Seattle as I was pulling for them as well!

Finally!!!

So with Shaun out do to injury the hawks went to an air attack last night against the 49ers...and boy did it work. Holmgren said before the game he was going to pass the ball alot...and he kept his word as the hawks passed 11 times in the first 13 plays of the game. Hasselbeck looked good all night hitting 8 different receivers! Statistically Matt is having the best year of his career (even tho its getting overshadowed by the inconsistant play of his team) and last night he looked ever bit the part of one of the leagues top quarterbacks. And not only did he look good...the WHOLE team looked good. For the first time since our Superbowl run 2 years ago...we looked like a confident, dominating team. Granted it was against the leagues worst team...but it is a sight for sore eyes for hawks fans. Expect them to stick to this "pass first" style of offense. We run the "West Coast Offense" and this is the true execution of that offense. We will still run the ball (Morris ran for 89 yards and a TD last night) but it wont be forced just for the sake of running. Buckle up for what hopes to be a great last half of the season!

Did you know that Matt has thrown TDs to 8 different players this year???

Football Twilight Zone

I am so shocked about the Colts game on Sunday Night Football yesterday. All I can really say is "What happened..?" For those of you who did not see the game (consider yourselves lucky) it was the worst game in Peyton Manning history. He threw an unbelievable six (yes, that's right, I said SIX) interceptions and lost to the Chargers 23-21.
Remarkably, Peyton rallied the Colts and almost came back to win after a 23-0 score for much of the game. Unfortunately, in a 2005 playoff game throwback, our super clutch, never miss a kick under 30-yards kicker, Adam Vinatieri, missed a 29 yard kick by mere inches. Sadly, Adam Vinatieri and Peyton Manning both made the "Duds" section of the "Studs and Duds" review on ESPN this week. :(
Although the Colts have had a disappointing appearance the last two weeks, I do not blame Peyton or Adam. Vinatieri still has an awesome percentage (82.4%) and has the right to miss every once and a while. Hopefully this will not be a repeat of the Vanderjact fiasco. Peyton had a bad day, probably a hangover from last week's loss to the Patriots, and I think it is ok. I know my philosophies are not as well thought out as Jason's, I am new to the whole football fan thing, but I think they Colts will bounce back from these losses.
All I am trying to say, is that I would like to get out of this bizarro world football season and have my teams start winning! The Hawks and the Colts are better than they have played the past few weeks, and they need to start showing it. Hopefully, the Hawks will win tonight. I will cheer them on while wearing my brand new, pink Deon Branch jersey (yes, I said pink). You all love it. You know you do. (Thanks Jason!)
Love you all, hopefully my next post will be more exciting!

What the heck???

...is going on with our Seahawks. I know the Cleavland Browns are an up and coming team that has had a potent offense over the last 5 weeks...but we should not have lost that game yesterday. Not just for the fact that we were winning 21 to 6...or that we couldnt get 1/2 yard to get a first down...but we are a better team than we have shown lately.

This kinda carries back to last year and I know it is a cliche...but we should be a better team than we are. We have way more talent than our Superbowl team a few years back...and we cut out the negative attitude players since then. So what is going on?

I thought alot about this over the last 24 hours (i know...im a nerd and have no life) and am trying to figure out why we seem to not play to our potential. I didnt want to look at stats or anything logical to explain this. Rather, i wanted to take a personal perspective and give my opinion on what is going on. First...its obvious that our running game SUCKS but I am starting to come to the conclusion that its not just Shaun's fault. Yesterday i examined our running plays and there really isnt much place for Shaun to go. Our offensive line is not only missing blocks...they are just plain out getting run over. Shaun has never been a back to run outside and get by people. His big chunk of yards is find the hole and explode thru it. But there truly isnt a hole to run thru this year. Morris hasnt really been effective this year either. But one thing im having a hard time understanding is why we keep playing him the majority of the game...when he already has a cast on his arm (which is obviously effecting him) and he has knee and leg injuries as well. As Melina said to me yesterday... why not rest him a game to help him get better.

Second...a more general perspective is...we just cant play consistant. And by that i mean...our offense, defense and special teams dont seem to play well at the same time. Our offense will suck but the defense will rock. And then our offense will roll and then the defense seems to play softer. (yesterday we didnt get to the quarterback once). And sometimes we get huge plays from our special teams...but then do nothing to capitalize on it. If all parts played well at the same time...i honestly think we would be "patriot like" team to beat. Not to say we would be as good as New England...but we have one of the best offenses and defenses in the league and would be tough to beat if both sides of the ball were playing good at the same time.

And third...which is the mosts intriguing...is play call. We have one of the best coaches in the league...yet we seem to keep making odd calls. I know Mike doesnt make all the calls now...but I would think he has influence in it. For example...three weeks ago when we are down two scores and need a field goal and a touchdown to tie (which probably wouldnt happen anyway) instead of kicking a fieldgoal on 4th down and getting one of the scores we needed...he opts to go for the touchdown. When that doesnt work...we then have NO shot at tying the game. And last night...with our running game being as atrocious as it is...when we need 1/2 a yard...why not do a quarterback sneak. Matt had just run for 9 yards and dove for the first...he obviously was playing hard and I think he could have muscled for 1/2 yard. There just seems to be a few times in the game where we have something going well and then we go away from it. Hopefully this can be worked out soon. We probably will still make the playoffs since our division sucks, but if we want to make it anywhere once the post season comes...we better start playing better and make smarter decisions.

Back on track

Hello everyone in bloggerland...or hello Jordan and Jason. :) I just wanted to keep in touch on the blog since Jason does such a great job. I don't post enough or do his beautiful website any justice, so I am going to be a dedicated blogger and website advocate from now on.

The wedding was so great, everything was better than we expected and we had a really great time. I am so happy that everyone made it down. It was a really happy experience for us. The honeymoon was a blast! It was nice for us to just relax, take naps, and not think about anything for a while. Thinking back, it is hard to believe we just went to five different countries in an eight day span, and now we have been to three continents! Soon we will go visit my sister, Shawn, in Japan so we can tack on a fourth!

If I have not had a chance to make contact with you yet, I apologize. Things have been busy since we got home and very unpredictable, but we seem to be slowing back down again so call me if you can, and I will start calling people soon. I miss you all, and have a happy halloween!

Its Updated...

The Wedding has come and gone and it was a beautiful day for us.

A week after we got home from our vacation I have finally updated our main website with all the info and pictures from not only our wedding, but our 10 day cruise thru the Caribean. We went to Aruba, Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica and Jamaica. Please check out our pictures page for all the info.
Thanks to all that attended and shared our special day with us. We ended up having 35 people show up and the reception was a blast. The DJ did a good job and the food was great. It was an intiment ceremony and just as intiment of a reception that we were lucky enough to share with our closest friends and family.
The week in Vegas was crazy but fun and we really enjoyed our cruise! I highly recommend a cruise to anyone who is looking to have a memorable vacation.

And make sure to leave us comments to let us know what you think. You can also plug in a quick comment in our message post board located on the right side of our blog.

One week left...

I havent posted in a few days but been a little busy finishing the last minute details for the wedding. We leave next week and are pretty much all done with the planning. Now its just time to enjoy :)

As for the update... I updated the full website with new pics from the Puyallup Fair and added a little slide show to the side of our blog. This will be the last update to the full site until after the wedding. Im taking my laptop with me so I will try to get some on the site before we take our cruise. Melina faxed out the request for a group discount for the Excalibur show so we all will save about $8 per ticket and we will all be sitting in the same area. Melina's mom put it all on her credit card so we will need to collect payment from everyone when we get there (or before) so we make sure she gets her money back. We are confirmed for the 6pm show on Sunday. I recommend getting there about 15-30 mins early so we can disperse the tickets as we have to pick them all up at the same time on Friday.

For those of you going to Vegas we cant wait to see you. It should be a great time with family and friends.

From Houstontexans.com

Texans Head coach was asked...(on if he expects S Michael Boulware to be more involved in the defense) “Yeah, he has been mostly special teams and that really is just how things panned out and what Carolina was doing last week. But I think you’re going to see him get more and more involved.”

Quite possibly the coolest toy I've ever bought...

So after spending over 7 hours driving around to different stores and calling every Best Buy and Circuit City around I finally found the iPod Touch. Ironically it ended up being in the Tacoma Best Buy about 8 blocks from my house.

I woke up to an email that Jordan sent me telling me that he heard it was out already. (it wasnt supposed to release till Sept. 28th) This got me right out of bed and I immediately began my pursuit of happiness. After calling the Southcenter Apple store they confirmed it was out but they had already sold them I called Bellevue and they said they just received a shipment of them and they were still in. They wouldnt hold one for me or tell me how many they had (i guess thats Apples stupid policy) so i took my chances and drove from Tacoma to Bellevue with the hopes of one still being there. When i got to the counter the lady said they had them...she went to the shelf...and lo and behold...they had just sold the last one. Jordan then advised me to try The Mac Store in Redmond so i headed over there as they had just received a huge shipment too. After over an hour there of them checking in their order they werent there. Calling Circuit City was no help. They didnt even know what i was talking about. I stopped at Best Buy in Bellevue and they didnt have any either...but the sales rep told me that Southcenter had them. They didnt...i called them...then Federal Way...no luck. I then called Tacoma and he had 8 in (he couldnt hold them either) so i rushed back from Bellevue...not really cuz by this time it was around 2:30 and traffic was bad...but when i got there...it was in and i finally got my toy!!!

As Jordan can attest too...(he got the iphone) this thing is awesome. The iPod touch is exactly like the iPhone...minus the phone. But it does have wifi so i can still use the internet in some places. The "touch" interface is amazing and everything about it makes sense. And watching movies on the 3.5 inch screen is nice. This is by far the best iPod yet...and may be the coolest toy I have ever bought.

Rough Weekend

Ok...so it wasnt the best weekend of football for fans in the Northwest. The previously advertised Husky game (by me) was only good for the first half, but the second half was pretty much all Ohio State and there was no upset. Then...on a play that Matt and Shaun have made thousands of times, a simple handoff, the exchange was bobbled and we turned the ball over to Arizona for a last second field goal to win the game. Thats our play! Josh Brown did that for us 4 times last year and we were well in position for that to happen again in this game. After coming from a 17 point deficit (17-0 i might add) We came back and had a chance with under 2 minutes to gain a few yards...milk the clock...and let our man do his thing. But in this case...Josh didnt get his change and Neil Rackers (arizonas kicker) did his best Josh Brown impression to send our Hawks to a 1 and 1 record. Not the end of the world by any means...but still a rough way to go out. At least we showed up in the second half and showed what kind of team we can be when all cylinders are firing.

In other news...the Houston Texans (who i am a fan of now by default) are surprisingly 2-0 and beat Carolina on the road. Not only is Carolina a pick for some to go deep in the playoffs, Houston hasnt been a good team since they were inducted into the league a few years ago. Michael played special teams and even tho he didnt get credit for it, he was in on a tackle that caused a fumble that Houston recovered and took to the house for a touchdown.

I updated the poll so let your voice be heard what you think will happen this week!

I found them...

Michael's Houston Texans jersey is now available on nfl.com. Just select the cusomizable jersey and select his name from the drop down menu. They are available in white, red and blue. Replica jerseys are $74.99

Ok Seahawks fans...

Obviously football season has arrived and its all about the Hawks baby... However...there is another team here in Seattle that plays football too. And so far this year they have played pretty well. Im talking about the University of Washington Huskies. They have by far the hardest schedule this year in all of college football. (dont just take my word for it...espn.com rated it the hardest as well) They are 2-0 this year and last week they beat Boise State convincingly and they were a BCS team last year that went undefeated! This weekend (Saturday) the Huskies play #10 Ohio State and they have been picked by some experts to upset them. If you have nothing to do on Saturday, turn on ABC and check out the dawgs. Could be a really good game.

If its not...then oh well. The hawks play sunday at 1 :)

This time next month...

...we will be in Las Vegas!!! Chad, Eillen, my nephew Derek, Melina and I arrive on the morning of the 4th around 11am. We are officially under a month now! We pretty much are all set with the details... now we just need to figure out what we are going to do on the days we are down there. We were planning on going to Celine Dion but she has sold out ALL shows in October so that wont be happening now. But we plan to go to at least one other show while we are there and havent completely decided which one or what night. If you are going to Vegas and are interested in a show let us know when you will be arriving and what day(s) work best for you so we can coordinate.

In other news... Braeden started school today! He is going to a Montessori school in Federal Way every afternoon. His class has kids that are 3 to 6 years old so he can learn at whatever skill level he fits in. We are really excited...as is he!!!

I added a message board so its even easier for you to leave us comments now so keep in touch. And check out our full website for other info and pictures!!!

One month left...

With a little over a month to go its hard to believe that the wedding is almost here. In fact....Melinas bridal shower is this weekend. We have almost all of the wedding details set and are both really anxious. For those of you that are going to make it, dont forget to check out our "wedding page" on our website for information and updates. Melina and I are staying in a timeshare off of the strip but i think alot of people will be staying in or around Ceasars Palace which is mid strip. Alaska Airlines had a REALLY good deal for 89.99 each way but it might have expired. I think Southwest's cheapest fare is 99.99 each way.

With summer almost gone and the wedding coming up so fast we probably wont have very many fun things that we will be doing before October, but be sure to still check us out. I try to update our website every week!!! And KEEP IN TOUCH WITH US!!! Nice to know that people are actually reading :)

And for those that know Jordan Lambert....we CANT wait for him to be home! He comes home in a week! See ya soon my man!

Update

Hello everyone! This is Melina, just adding a new post to our super fantastic website made completely by Jason. He did such a great job, I am so proud of him! :) Anyway, we are down in Portland right now for 3 days. I had work training here and Jason came down with Braeden to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa (they live in Vancouver).

In other news, the wedding plans are going well, I am getting so excited! My bridal shower is in 2 weeks (hooray!) my friend and bridesmaid Eillen planned the whole thing (thank you! I love you!) so I have no idea what we are doing and I am really looking forward to it. Everyone should have their invitations by now, so if you have not seen one, let me know and I will tell Eillen to contact you again.

Also, my sister is in town this week from Yokohama, Japan. Unfortunately I am gone half the time she is here. :( I am really happy that she is home. It is good to see her (and her boyfriend Taka too). Anyway, I just wanted to leave an update...and I hope everyone is checking our site. We will update it as much as possible, but we need your comments! It is no fun writing random messages into the dark blackness of cyberspace when you don't think anyone is reading them! So let us know what you think and we will update as often as possible.

Thanks for reading! Melina

Welcome...

As ya probably already know...i had to completely redo my website...so i decided to add a blog to it. I originally set up that windows space...but i dont see myself using it all that much. I would rather use our website. Let us know what you think...

We saw the Simpsons movie on thursday night at 11:59 and it was more than worth it! I cant remember laughing that much during a movie since the early Adam Sandler/Happy Madison days. I was worried it would be kinda a "sell out" movie that was made just to make some $...but i really think it was done well and goes along perfectly with the 18+ year running series. If you are a Simpsons fan...i highly recommend it.
